As the Foundation grows, so does its need for volunteers. The Foundation can never have too many volunteers! Be active and get involved! Some of the areas in which your special talents and expertise can be used include:

• Annual Events
• Advertising
• Promotions
• Fund Raising
• Membership
• Newsletter

You can also help by speaking about the Foundation at your local club or sponsoring a "Foundation Table" at your local specialty show. There are many ways of helping to promote the Foundation.

Individuals have donated large collections of collie memorabilia including books, figurines, artwork and jewelry for Foundation fund-raising events such as auctions. Some members have even started their own fund-raising campaigns for the benefit of the Foundation. Auctions can also be done at the local club level, with proceeds or a portion of same, donated to the Foundation.

Depending on your state of residency, gifts to the Foundation may reduce your estate tax liability.
