CHF Officers & Board of Directors
The Collie Health Foundation (CHF) is governed by a dedicated team of officers and board of directors, serving staggered terms to ensure continuity and expertise in advancing Collie health research. Officers, elected for two-year terms, include a President, Vice Presidents, Secretary, and Treasurer, who oversee daily operations, grant approvals, and educational initiatives. The Board of Directors, with four-year terms, provides strategic guidance on funding priorities like Canine Eye Anomaly (CEA) studies and DNA banking, drawing from breeders, veterinarians, and Collie enthusiasts. This volunteer-led structure, outlined in CHF’s bylaws, fosters transparent decision-making and collaboration, driving the foundation’s mission since 1986 to invest nearly $2 million in grants for Collie-specific conditions.
